Do I need a referral to see you?

Yes, if you want us to bill your insurance. On rare occasions an insurance company does not require a referral for billing. If this is the case or if you prefer to pay privately at the time of service, Paul is able to treat you for 30 days without a referral from your doctor.

How long does a typical PT session last?

PT sessions generally last 60 minutes.

Who chooses which PT I see – me or my doctor?

You do. If you would like to work with Paul, please ask your practitioner to fax the referral to our office at 503.699.2703.

Will insurance pay for my treatments?

Usually, yes! Summit Physical Therapy is a contracted provider with insurance companies, guaranteeing a reduced charge to you. As with all providers, you will need to satisfy your deductible and take care of any copays and coinsurance while we accept the contracted payment. We’re always happy to check on your insurance benefits and discuss payment options with you.

Will I work with just one PT?

Yes! Paul Kane. Paul will stay with you through the entirety of each session to explaining your condition and treatment, answering any questions you may have and guiding you through the proper performance of your exercises. Paul’s commitment to personalized care is what sets Summit Physical Therapy apart.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you can’t keep an appointment, please call us no later than 24 to 48 hours to reschedule. Our voicemail can take your cancellation call at any time, even when the office is closed. Late cancellations and no-shows will be subject to a $35 charge.

We accept VISA, MasterCard, debit cards, personal checks and cash.
