Manual Therapy

Manual therapy refers to treatment performed with the hands. Paul specializes in Mobilization with movement (MWM) where he moves bones and joints gently into position, often coupled with movements performed by the patient. These techniques are very effective, with chronic conditions that previously required many weeks of physical therapy improving as little as three to four visits.

There are MWM’s for all joints in the body, and many can be self-applied at home. They can be used to relieve pain resulting from many conditions, such as:

  • Chronic migraines
  • Painful, limited shoulder range of motion
  • Knee pain when squatting or going up or down stairs
  • Early stage hip Osteoarthritis
  • Sciatica
  • Sacroiliac pain
  • Ankle stiffness
