Paul Kane is an experienced Physical Therapist who began practicing in his native country of New Zealand. After practicing in England, and Detroit, Michigan, he moved to Southern Oregon in 1988. He moved to Portland and founded Summit Physical Therapy in Lake Oswego in 1995. His practice in now located just across from Meridian Park Hospital in Tualatin. He is a certified Mulligan Practitioner and has completed advanced training in multiple manual therapy techniques.
Paul is an enthusiastic athlete. He enjoys many sports and frequently rides his bike to work. He understands that preventing injury and restoring health, whether or not you are an athlete, is the key to remaining active and pain free. Paul has helped thousands of patients in Tualatin, Tigard, Sherwood, Wilsonville, Lake Oswego, and all over the greater Portland area.
Paul met his wife, Lisa, in London. Lisa is originally from Los Angeles, and after marrying, they moved to Portland. They have three sons. In 2012, Paul became a US citizen.

Nickie, Office Manager
Nickie is the Office Manager of Summit Physical Therapy since June 2015. She handles all our health insurance authorizations, copays, information regarding your health insurance needs, scheduling and helps answers any questions you have regarding your insurance or treatment needs. Nickie has a wealth of knowledge regarding the health system, and is the “go to” person for all your and our office needs. She is the welcoming voice of Summit Physical Therapy.
Bill Muir, Aide/Office Assistant
Bill has been with Summit Physical Therapy for nearly 22 years. Bill keeps the office and treatment areas clean and tidy, and also helps with light clerical work.
Bill enjoys exercising and is an avid runner. He has competed in several races over the past 3 years and most recently, the 10K of the “Lake Run” in Lake Oswego.
