Paul Kane, PT, CMP

Paul Kane is an experienced physical therapist who began practicing in his native country of New Zealand. He moved to southern Oregon in 1988, and founded Summit Physical Therapy in 1995. Paul became a US Citizen in 2012. He and his wife, Lisa, met in London. They have three sons.
Paul is an enthusiastic athlete. He enjoys many sports and frequently rides his bike to work. He understands that preventing injury and restoring health, whether or not you are an athlete, is the key to remaining active and pain-free. Paul has helped thousands of patients in Tualatin, Tigard, Lake Oswego, and throughout the greater Portland area. He is a Certified Mulligan Practitioner, and has completed advanced training in multiple manual therapy techniques. After 35 years, he remains passionate about his job.

Laura Howard, Office Manager & Patient Care Coordinator
Laura has more than 25 years of experience in medical practice management. She handles all our health insurance authorizations, billing, copays, and scheduling. She can answer any question you may have about your insurance coverage or treatment needs.
In her spare time, Laura enjoys traveling, sailing, and West Coast Swing dancing.
Bill Muir, Aide/Office Assistant
Bill has been with Summit Physical Therapy for over 24 years. Bill keeps the office and treatment areas clean and tidy, and also helps with light clerical work.
Bill enjoys exercising and is an avid runner. He has participated in several 10k runs over the years.
Bailey, Official Greeter
Bailey is a sweet Havanese puppy. He joined the Summit team in July 2022 as official greeter and assistant office manager. He's small, fluffy, and completely adorable! Bailey loves playing, snuggling, and making new friends. He's also good at napping quietly so his mom Laura can work. When not in the office, Bailey enjoys outdoor walks and romping with his many toys.
Teddy, Official Greeter
Teddy is a Shih-tzu/Bischon mix. He joined the Summit team in 2019 as office greeter and head of security. He comes to work with his mom, office manager Laura, and you can find him in the office mornings and most afternoons. When not at work, Teddy enjoys long naps and car rides with the windows down.
